LT 5 November 1991. The LT valued a strip of land, which was compulsorily purchased to provide access to a residential development, as a ransom strip, for which in a no acquisition world there was a market. The CA remitted the matter back to the LT to identify the scheme underlying the compulsory purchase. Identification of the scheme and consideration of a no scheme world was not found to affect the value of the land.
