Protecting deposits - 1992 - Independent on Sunday 1 November 1992, 17(1) .

The Association of Residential Letting Agents has set up a bonding scheme which offers protection to landlords and tenants. One aim of the bond is to ensure that tenants are repaid deposits if a letting agency collapses. A code of conduct covering the separation of office and client accounts offers further protection of clients` money.
