Review of the RICS publication "Housing the nation: choice, access and priorities" which challenges policy makers across the political spectrum to review their housing strategies. It recommends the phasing out of mortgage tax relief and its replacement with a housing allowance, the creation of a National Housing Investment Bank and a programme to provide 100,000 new social housing units a year.
