"Reigate and Banstead DC v Brown and others"; "Mole Valley DC v Smith and others" CA 27 February 1992. Appeals against injunctions to restrain the use of sites by gypsies were dismissed. It was held that a council`s failure to provide adequate sites for gypsies in breach of statutory duties did not justify a breach of planning law by the gypsies.
