"National Rivers Authority v Jones" ChD 2 March 1992. It was held that it was no defence against charges, under Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act 1975 s2(4), of wilfully disturbing spawning fish that the defendant was the riparian owner and had a right to cross the river.
