"Venus Investments Ltd v Stocktop Ltd" 6 November 1996. Possession order was granted on the grounds that defendant had occupied the garage under licence rather than under a tenancy agreement and therefore was not protected by the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954. "Street v Mountford" applied to commercial property as well as residential accommodation.
