Twentieth Century Fur (Finance) Ltd v Waller(VO) - 1992 - Rating & Valuation Reporter (1992) 31 RVR 235-239(5) .

LT 19 November 1991. The LT refused to increase a 15% allowance in the assessment of the hereditament of a showroom and offices for disturbance to occupation arising from extensive building works on adjacent land and not to consider the premises as related to the fur trade but to assess it as vacant and to let. Other circumstances pleaded arising from the works included high levels of dust causing damage to furs, poor air quality, noise and vibration, chemical fumes and heavy traffic were rejected as being of insufficient substance. The value of the basement stockroom as reduced from £14.50 to £12 psm having regard to comparables.
