Indications of recovery in the construction industry are strengthened by the Joint Forecasting Committee prediction that housing starts and repair and maintenance output will increase in 1993. Surveys from the HBF and the NHBC also reflect growing confidence and one housebuilder, Wilson (Connelly) has even put up prices.
