The inspector`s decision in allowing the fitting of a UPVC front door to a house subject to Article 4 direction was upheld. The claim that there was a danger of setting a precedent of a material consideration where the decision was subject to Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 s72 was dismissed.
