"Julian v Crago" CA 21 November 1991. In dismissing an appeal by the defendant (J), CA asserted that although the Law of Property Act 1925 ss 52 and 53 allowed the oral establishment of a lease, under specific conditions, its assignment was required to be in the form of deed.
