"The Mortgage Corporation Ltd v Ubah" CA 7 March 1996. Held that where under the terms of the tenancy the tenant was to share use of the kitchen with the landlord, the tenancy was a restricted contract within Rent Act 1977 s21, even though the landlord was unable to make use of the kitchen. Appeal by tenant dismissed.
