R v West Glamorgan CC, ex parte Morris

QBD 7 May 1991. An application for judicial review of planning consent for a gypsy caravan site in an AONB was dismissed. The CC was bound to provide adequate accommodation for gypsies under Caravan Sites Act 1968 and the local authority was right to take this into account when deciding the planning application even though provision for gypsy sites had not been made in the development plans.
