In Kirklees BC v Wickes Building Supplies Ltd , ChD 14 May 1990, it was held that when a local authority engages in its law enforcement duties and applies for an interlocutory injunction to restrain an alleged breach of the law pending criminal proceedings it is not always required to, give an undertaking in damages as a condition of the grant of the interlocutory injunction.
