In Vural v Security Archives Ltd , ChD 24 February 1989, it was established that when a tenant pays insurance rent and the landlord covenants to not only insure but also to apply the insurance monies received in reinstating, the landlord must prosecute a claim under the insurance policy for the money recoverable and necessary to reinstate.
