In "Axa Equity & Law Home Loans Ltd v Hirani Watson" QBD 12 May 1994 it was held that A`s claim failed when a valuation for a mortgagee resulted in domestic property being subsequently repossessed and sold for a low price. At issue was whether the valuer was negligent and whether his valuation was within an acceptable bracket.
