In "Mortgage Express Ltd v Bowerman and Partners " ChD 11 May 1994 a firm of solicitors were held liable in damages for £117,549.19 in an action for negligence brought by the mortgage lenders. B failed to inform M of information which cast doubt on a valuation. The issue was whether they had been negligent in doing so.
