ChD 12 December 1991. Dispute over allocating a milk quota arose when valuing assets of an agricultural partnership which had ceased upon the death of one of two parties. The respondent`s assertion that the milk quota was an asset of the partnership was rejected by the arbitrator appointed under terms of the agreement. He appealed with a case based on the Arbitration Act 1979, but the ruling stood.
