In R v Enfield LBC , ex parte T.F. Unwin (Royden) Ltd QBD 14 February 1989 it was held that a local authority had acted unfairly in removing a building contractor from a list of approved contractors without informing them of the nature of accusations made against them and before giving them a chance to defend themselves.
