Estate agent owes duty of care - 1994 - Times 25 January 1994, 38(1) .

"McCullagh v Lane Fox and Partners Ltd" QBD 14 January 1994 held that the vendor`s estate agent did owe a duty of care for a negligent misstatement (on the size of the plot), on which the purchasers relied. The claim, however, was dismissed as no loss was suffered; the value of the property remained the same.
