A report of two planning appeals Tyack v SOS for the Environment and Another and Hancock v SOS for the Environment and Another CA 21 June 1988 in which the SOS appealed against construction of a barn and a silage clamp on the grounds that the development in each case was not permitted development under the General Development Order 1977 Case VI .
