Describes the EDESIRL research project (Evolutionary Development of Expert Systems in Real Time) which is currently being undertaken by the RICS in collaboration with the University of Salford under the DTI Information Engineering Advanced Technology Programme. The aim of the project is to look at methodologies for the development of expert systems for small to medium enterprises.
