CA 23 March 1992. The appellant plaintiffs claimed payment on a quantum meruit basis for introducing, immediately after an auction, where the hotel property had failed to sell, a buyer, who purchased the property but more than 28 days after the auction. Commission was agreed for any sale completed within 28 days of the auction. The appeal was dismissed with the court finding no grounds for any quantum meruit payment.
