In King and another v Thomas McKenna Ltd and another , QBD 20 December 1990, it was held that the court`s jurisdiction to remit an arbitral award under Arbitration Act 1950 s22 was unlimited as a safety net to prevent injustice, but not to be used merely to enable the arbitrator to correct errors of judgement or to have second and wiser thoughts.
