Lessees must stand ground - 1996 - Times 23 November 1996, 28(1) .

Advises leaseholders disputing unreasonable service charges not to pay up, forcing landlords to take them to court to prove the charges are reasonable. This follows the closing of a loophole whereby an eviction notice could follow a service charge demand.
