In "Brill and another v SoS for Environment and another" QBD 9 April 1992, the Inspector`s refusal to grant planning permission for the continued use of a farm shop for the sale of home-produced and imported produce in the Green belt on the grounds that the sale of imported agricultural produce beyond the de minimis level constituted a material change of use to a general retail unit within Class A was upheld.
