According to John Verrill of solicitors Lawrence Graham, surveyors who are not licence d as insolvency practitioners but who are appointed as receivers of single property vehicles , may be breaking insolvency laws. A letter in EG 1 June 1991 sets out the difference between an administrative receiver who needs a licence and other types of receiver.
