Traditional patterns of communting in London and the South-East could be transformed by plans to upgrade Network South-East`s Thameslink service between Bedford and Brighton. Proposals to increase capacity on one of the key southern approaches into central London will provide a regular peak time service between North and South London including Gatwick Airport.
