A warning is being attached to all JCT contract and final certificate forms sold by RIBA after the CA decision in "Crown Estates Commissioners v John Mowlem Co Ltd", on the grounds that architects responsible for signing off final certificates could be held liable for defects. The JCT is taking legal advice over the wording of final certificates.
