In "Wheeler and another v JJ Saunders Ltd and others" CA 19 December 1994, held that grants of planning permission to intensify pig farming on a site already used for this purpose did not render the grantees immune from liability in nuisance to neighbouring landowners in respect of smells caused by implementation of planning permissions.
