"Holt and another v Payne Skillington and another" CA 18 December 1995. Concerned the failure of the appellants (P and X) to advise on the planning status of a building purchased by H. Court accepted that tort duties may arise which are wider than those imposed by a contract between parties but "held" that X was not liable in tort. Appeal allowed.
