Action for possession

Action for possession - 1988 - EGCS 1988 139 .

In Cadman v Bell , ChD 21 October 1988, it was held that the defendant had a licence to reside in the house for life. The crucial question being that there was a common intention by the parties at the time of the acquisition that, although the legal title would be acquired by the plaintiff, all the parties then residing in the house would be able to continue to do so.
