"South Somerset DC v SoS for the Environment and another" CA 30 October 1992. An appeal by developers against the decision that the inspector had misunderstood local policies, when he refused planning permission. The CA found that the inspector`s decision was reasonable and based on an understanding of the policy. As such the inspector`s opinion could not be substituted by the opinion of the judge.
