"Brent LBC v O`Bryan and others" CA 6 July 1992. An appeal against refusal of a possession order was successful. It was held that the tenant had not accepted the offer of renting the premises by acknowledging the letter from the council, which had deceided to let the premises pending the sale of them. Also an offer by the council of a licence was not accepted.
