In Re Groves and another`s application, LT 8 July 1987, the original application was made under the Law of Property Act 1925 s84 , to discharge a restrictive covenant on land at Houghton , Gloucestershire. The land had been sold by the local authority, subject to a restriction not to erect any building other than a single private dwelling house .
