The RICS has welcomed the House of Commons Welsh Affairs Committee`s call for the Welsh Office in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive and British Coal to ensure that records and plans relating to redundant South Wales collieries remain in the the area. The report "Transfer of British Coal Corporation Records from Tredomen" highlights British Coal`s proposals to move its records to Bretby in Derbyshire.
