Summarises the findings of research undertaken for the Scottish Office into the use of section 50 agreements in Scotland. The research was conducted by way of a literature review, a questionnaire survey of planning authorities, an interview survey of selected authorities, developers and their professional advisers, and an analysis of completed agreements.
