This paper looks at how to realise the value from an airport estate. It first considers the planning implications, including the recent environmental changes and the CAA regulations, and then the advantages of preparing a comprehensive master plan are discussed. The paper also looks at what type of development can be undertaken and how to fund and structure the development, including joint venture considerations.
