A leading cladding consultant has warned that the long awaited new curtain walling standard will lower standards rather than raise them if it is adopted by the industry in its present form. The final draft has been issued this week. Other cladding consultants are predicting a rise in cladding problems caused by the inclusion of nickel sulphide in glass.
