The Countryside Commission is calling for rigorous controls on any development which threatens to harm the most beautiful stretches of the English and Welsh coastline and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has called on Government to draw up management plans for Britain`s coastlines, complemented by a national coastal strategy.
