There has been much debate on how to realise value from property or other assets on behalf of secured lenders. The questions arise as to whether to allow borrowers` existing management to work problems through without bringing in receivers at all and whether administrative receivers are the most suitable choice for this asset management situation. This article suggests an alternative cheaper route, the Law of Property Act receiver.
