"Sneesby and another v Goldings (a firm)" CA 6 December 1994. Chartered surveyors (G) appealed against a charge of negligence in checking for defects while conducting a mortgage valuation survey. G contended that too high a duty was being placed on the surveyor for this kind of report. Appeal dismissed.
