In "J L Engineering Ltd v SoS for Environment and another" QBD 1 February 1993, the applicants` appeal against Inspector`s decision was refused on the grounds that there had been a material change of use from agricultural to industrial. Dismissed the applicants` argument that an existing use right for industrial use had been established and that the reverter back from agricultural to industrial did not require planning permission.
