In "Alexandra Palace Ski Centre Ltd v Haringey LBC" CA 20 May 1994, the ski centre sought a new lease from the local authority under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 Part 2. H`s appeal that it had no power to grant a new tenancy was dismissed.
