A publican has won his beer purchase test case after the High Court ruled against Courage`s application for an injunction to stop the tenant from breaking Inntrepreneur lease terms in buying half his beer stocks from wholesalers. The ruling will remain until the EC rules on whether the UK brewery tie system is legal under European competition law.
