"Mid Glamorgan CC v Ogwr BC and other" CA 26 October 1993. A water company`s compulsory purchase of land was not invalidated by failing to serve notice to treat on each commoner. This was avoided by using the provisions of Compulsory Purchase Act 1985 sch 4 and notifying an appointed committee of commoners.
