MAFF has set up a National Farm Waste Forum with representatives from the National Rivers Authority (NRA), DoE, and the Welsh Office Agriculture Department. A pilot study will see if farm waste pollution can be cut. Outlines recent initiatives by government to reduce pollution from farm waste including free initial advice by ADAS on pollution avoidance and a code of good agricultural practice for the protection of water.
