The Crichel Down rules have been altered to allow valuers other than the DV to carry out valuations for disposal and exemption from the offer-back obligation in certain circumstances. Modifications also affect periods, in which previous owners agree to terms and the cut-off date for the obligation to offer agricultural land to former owners.
