In Strover and Another v Harrington and Others ChD 2 December 1987, it was held that the plaintiffs` solicitors` knowledge, which was not personally communicated to the plaintiffs, was sufficient to prevent them relying on a misrepresentation contained in the vendor`s particulars of sale .
