Haddon v Black Country Development Corporation - 1993 - Rating & Valuation Reporter (1993) RVR 93-112(21) .

LT 15 March 1993. At issue was the level of compensation, complicated by the land`s former uses as a depository for industrial ash and subsequently as a site for ash extraction. In assessing the compensation payable, various values were considered: the ash as a resource; potential for use as waste disposal or open storage; a British Rail right of way licence; all tempered by consideration of the costs of operating or rehabilitating the land.
