Defendants appealed against the decision that they had been negligent in surveying a property on the grounds that the 40mm gap in one end of a concrete purlin was not a serious defect. Appeal allowed to an extent to permit a reduction in damages payable to the plaintiff. ORC decision at Abs50956.
